Privacy policy
The protection of your personal data is a particular concern to us. We therefore process your data exclusively on the basis of the statutory provisions (DSG 2018, GDPR, TKG 2003). In this privacy information we inform you about the most important aspects of data processing within our website boostpilot.ai.
Please read this statement carefully before using the website, as it explains how we collect, process and store personal data. Every access to our website and every retrieval of a file stored on our website is logged. The storage serves internal, system-related and statistical purposes. What is logged: name of the retrieved file, date and time of retrieval, volume of data transferred, notification of successful retrieval, web browser, requesting domain, external IP address of the requesting computer, search terms (…).
Storage of personal data
We process and store all personal data that you provide to us in the context of email enquiries (e.g. name, address, email address, telephone number, etc.) in order to carry out the contact you have requested and to maintain customer relationships. This data is stored with us until you request deletion in writing.
Further personal data is only collected if you provide details voluntarily, in the context of an enquiry or registration, in order to conclude a contract, or through the settings of your browser. Should we pass data on to external service providers, technical and organisational measures are taken to ensure that the transfer takes place in accordance with the statutory data protection provisions. Data processing takes place on the basis of the statutory provisions of § 96 para. 3 TKG and Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a (consent) and/or f (legitimate interest) GDPR.
Your rights
In principle you have the rights to information, correction, deletion, restriction, data portability, revocation and objection. If you believe that the processing of your data violates applicable data protection law, or that your data protection rights have otherwise been infringed, you can complain to the supervisory authority at any time.
You may at any time request information about the data stored about you, about the origin of the data, the recipients and the purpose of storing this data. In addition, in accordance with the statutory provisions, you have a right to correction, blocking or deletion of your data.

Access data / server log files
The provider (or its web space provider) collects data on accesses to the website (so-called server log files). Access data includes: name of the retrieved website, file, date and time of retrieval, volume of data transferred, notification of successful retrieval, browser type and version, the user's operating system, referrer URL (the previously visited website), IP address and the requesting provider.
The provider uses the log data only for statistical evaluations for the purpose of operating, securing and optimising the website. However, the provider reserves the right to review the log data subsequently if there is justified suspicion of unlawful use based on concrete evidence.
Use of links
This website contains links to other websites. If you click such a link leading to third-party websites, please note that those websites have their own privacy policies. Please check the privacy policies when using those websites, as we accept no responsibility or liability of any kind for third-party websites.
Hosting
This website is hosted with Netlify (Netlify, Inc., 512 2nd Street, Suite 200, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA). On our behalf, Netlify processes the technical access data generated when a page is requested (see "Access data / server log files") and delivers the pages through its content delivery network. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in the secure and performant operation of the website). The transfer to the USA is based on the standard contractual clauses. Further information: Netlify privacy policy.
Input forms (contact form)
In the context of input forms, first and last name, email address and company are collected in order to carry out contact and to maintain customer relationships. We do not pass this data on without your consent, unless this is necessary to perform a contract or to carry out pre-contractual measures. Without this data we cannot conclude the contract with you.
Submission runs through the "Netlify Forms" service of the same provider. Submissions are stored there and forwarded to us by email. To keep out automated submissions, the form contains a hidden field that only machines fill in (a honeypot). No cookies are set and no further provider's service is embedded.
Appointment booking (Calendly)
For scheduling we link to Calendly (Calendly LLC, 271 17th St NW, Atlanta, GA 30363, USA). The service is not embedded in this website. Only when you click the link do you leave our website, and Calendly's privacy terms apply.
Podcast episodes (Spotify)
On the podcast page, episodes can be played through a Spotify player (Spotify AB, Regeringsgatan 19, 111 53 Stockholm, Sweden). The player is not loaded automatically. Only when you click "Load episode from Spotify" is a connection to Spotify established, at which point Spotify can collect data about your access and set cookies. The legal basis is then your consent given by that click, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. Further information: Spotify privacy policy.
TLS encryption with https
We use https to transmit data over the internet securely. By using TLS (Transport Layer Security), an encryption protocol for secure data transmission on the internet, we can ensure the protection of confidential data. You can recognise the use of this protection by the small padlock symbol at the top left of your browser and by the use of the https scheme as part of our internet address.
Fonts
The fonts Oswald, Exo 2 and Inter are served from our own server. No connection to Google Fonts or any other third party is established, and your IP address is not transmitted to third parties.
Web analytics with Google Analytics 4
We want to know which content gets read and use Google Analytics 4 for that purpose, a web analytics service of Google Ireland Limited (Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland). Measurement ID: G-1X57SBGN4J.
Only with your consent. Google Analytics is loaded only once you click "Accept" in the notice at the bottom of the page. Until then no connection to Google is established, no cookie is set and no data is transferred. As long as you have not consented, all Google consent types remain "denied" (Google Consent Mode v2). The legal basis is your consent, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR together with § 25(1) TDDDG.
What is collected. After your consent, Google Analytics sets cookies and collects information about your use of the website: pages viewed, time on page, source of the visit, approximate location at country and region level, device type, browser and operating system. Google Analytics 4 truncates IP addresses before any storage; the full IP address is not stored. The data is also transferred to Google servers in the USA. The transfer is based on the standard contractual clauses and the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, to which Google has certified. We have not enabled advertising features, Google signals or data sharing for advertising purposes.
Withdrawal, at any time. Via "Cookie settings" in the footer of every page you can reopen the notice and decline. From the moment you withdraw, Google Analytics is no longer loaded. Google cookies already set can be deleted in your browser settings. Alternatively, Google's browser add-on blocks collection permanently.
Further information: Google privacy policy and data processing terms.
Cookies
This website is built as a static site, without a content management system, without a login area and without session handling. No cookie is set without your consent. None is needed for the language choice either: the languages live at their own addresses (/de/, /en/, /fr/).
Cookies can arise in two cases, both requiring an action by you:
— after you have consented to web analytics, through Google Analytics (see above);
— after you have loaded the Spotify player on the podcast page, through Spotify (see above).
Your decision about web analytics itself is not stored in a cookie but in your browser's local storage (localStorage, key bp-consent). That entry never leaves your device and is technically necessary so that your choice is respected on your next visit.
What is not in use
Not in use: Google Tag Manager, Google Ads conversion tracking, Google signals, the Meta pixel, the LinkedIn Insight Tag and comparable advertising or recognition services. There is no cross-device recognition and no profiling for advertising purposes. Google Maps or any other map service is likewise not embedded; our address appears as text in the imprint.
How can cookies be deactivated, deleted or blocked?
Cookies can be deactivated, deleted and blocked via the browser at any time. You will find the relevant settings in the privacy settings of your browser (Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, Safari, Microsoft Edge).
